Chris Cochran/Time For Some Fun

Note: Each picture is a link to a larger version of it.

It took a while, along with a lot of hard work, but eventually it was time to get back to some of the more enjoyable parts of life.

Music with Bobbie Justice at my house, with me using both hands. It had taken a lot of work to get both hands working together again. The left hand, in particular, was a continuing challenge.

Kay Morrison gave me a great boost in making my speech easier to understand and in language pragmatics -- what to say when and how to say it.

Being in Ann Arbor, of course, my Dad and I had to attend the occasional University of Michigan football game. I've never been that big a football fan, but going to "the big house" is fun, even if just for the spectacle of it all.

Naturally, we had to wait for the 100,000+ other fans to get out of the way, before we could take these pictures. Note the traditional cane that I'm using, instead of hospital gear -- now there's a nice change!

Traveling for the holidays was a lot easier this year. Here's a picture of me with my Aunt Carol Kmetz, my Aunt Andrea Kmetz-Sheehy, and my sister Caroline at my grandparents' house in Clairton, PA.

We also went up north to visit with my new nephew, Austin. He is the first person (so far) who can call me "uncle Chris". Wow, talk about feeling old...

We were snowed in up north at the time of the second anniversary of my accident. Rather than looking backwards, though, it was time for Looking Forward to new and different things.

Like TBI recovery, building this web site is also a long-term process. My parents and I started it, to help me remember what has happened. Perhaps others can learn from it, too. Primary pages on the site at this time are as follows:

  • See the Latest Update on my home page

    • Next it was Time For Some Fun (Jun 98 - Jan 99)

    • And also for Looking Forward (Feb - Oct 99)

    • Getting back into the Real World (Oct 99 - Mar 00)

    • Okay, so let's start the New Millenium (Apr - Dec 00)

    • And now for a Road Trip (Jan - Feb 01)

  • Also see the Jackson Citizen Patriot Article (Oct 03)
