Fiction of the Vietnam War
There is a wide range of fictional accounts available, to aid in understanding the American involvement in Vietnam. Similar to the story of the blind men and the elephant, the Vietnam experience was different for each person who was there. We each saw only a small part of the picture.
Although the novels shown below each highlight only one small corner of that world, they combine to form a tapestry of tales that can provide a broader picture in the reader's mind. Some are meant to be historical fiction, while others are almost farce. But they are all tales worth hearing. Links are shown to more information about them at Amazon.com.
