Non-fiction of the Vietnam War
Hundreds of books have been published, recording for posterity both research and commentary about the conflicts in Vietnam. Many are dry, scholarly tomes, while others are little more than muck-raking rags. And it can sometimes be difficult to separate the writer's personal agenda from the facts of the matter.

In combination, these will provide a solid context for understanding what happened there -- and perhaps for seeing how things could have turned out differently, "if only..."
